Craig Barrett
Chief Executive Officer
NBI is one of the nation’s fastest growing commercial real estate firms. NBI is expanding nationally, representing landlords as well as national tenants. Mr. Barrett has leased and sold hundreds of millions of dollars in commercial real estate. Prior to co-founding NBI Properties in 2005, Craig worked for one of Florida’s top commercial real estate firms for 8 years. Mr. Barrett has served on several boards of charity and community organizations and has been instrumental in revitalizing downtown areas.

Jayme Nabors
President and COO NBI cofounder Jayme Nabors is NBI’s President and Chief Operating Officer and has an extensive background in business development and commercial real estate and has managed development projects of all sizes. His specialties include brokerage of retail power centers and executive office buildings as well as Industrial and large tracts of land. He is a graduate of the University of Florida and is an accomplished pilot.

 

Troy Seymour
Executive Vice President and CFAO
Troy Seymour joined NBI properties in early 2008 after 20 years of experience in the petroleum marketing industry. During this time, Troy has participated in the purchasing, operating, leasing and selling of over 500 convenience store properties throughout the South. As a former oil company executive and convenience store chain owner/operator, Troy is uniquely qualified to represent both buyers and sellers of convenience stores, gas stations and national chain retailers. Troy has also worked with fast food franchisors and franchisees as well as the major big box companies such as CVS, Walgreens and Wal-Mart.

Dennis Fortenberry
Executive Vice President and Director of Strategic Planning
Dennis came to NBI from the world of luxury residential resorts. His real estate development career began at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort near Destin, FL. More recently, Dennis was involved in the luxurious condominium development, The Pointe Beach & Yacht Club, overlooking Destin Harbor. While at Pointe Development, he helped master plan and manages thousands of other condominium and hotel units across the Gulf Coast. Because of the explosive growth of NBI, Dennis was asked to join the company’s executive team to oversee the firm’s new business development – an evolution set to make NBI a national player in commercial real estate.

James Rose
James Rose joined us from Jacksonville in 2010 and specializes in retail, office leasing and investment property sales. Prior to joining NBI, James had prior Commercial Real Estate experience in Jacksonville, Florida working with one of the top commercial firms in the city specializing in retail and investment properties. He has negotiated contracts representing national tenants for major retail outlets.  James has a degree in Architecture from Florida A&M University and worked professionally as a graduate intern architect in Tallahassee for two years. He offers strong background knowledge in design, commercial architecture and space planning. James is pursuing his MBA, and CCIM designation.

 

Sonya O’Bannon
Senior Vice President of Property Management
Sonya started with NBI in December of 2006 and brought her years of experience to our property-management team. She has more than 18 years in the hotel industry rising to the position of General Manager. Among other positions, she has been a GM for a large  resort, and also managed a 106-unit condominium complex. She is a licensed Certified Property Manager (CPM). She is currently in charge of over 500 properties and that number is increasing constantly.

 

Lorne Hale
Director of Marketing and Research
Lorne joined NBI in 2006 and quickly built strong databases that we utilize for all our clients. Lorne has worked with numerous national tenants and defense contactors. Lorne is also in charge of our IT department where he does the research, updates the dozens of lists and crunches the numbers – a task that has helped make NBI North Florida’s largest commercial real estate firm.

 

Lynn Gardner
Senior Sales Director
“Versatile” and “brilliant” are the two words that best describe Dr. Lynn Gardner. Lynn graduated from one of America’s best medical schools, Duke University, in the rigorous discipline of surgery, had a long and successful practice as a renowned orthopedic surgeon, then “retired” to pursue other interests. Those include for the past 10 years investment real estate. Lynn has special expertise in the burgeoning field of distressed properties. She joined NBI in 2006.

 

Chad Knaepple
Chad Knaepple is a native to the area and joined NBI Properties in 2011 with his wife, Jennifer Knaepple, working together as a team. Chad specializes in bringing two parties together to buy, sell, or lease real estate. Prior to joining NBI, Chad worked in residential real estate in the in the surrounding areas since 2003. He has also worked with several developers over the years. Chad studied Architecture at LSU giving him and advantage in structural design and functionality. He also holds a license as a residential appraiser. Chad is an accomplished sailor having served on the Blue Water Bay Sailing Club’s Board of council.

 

Jennifer Knaepple
Jennifer is a native resident of the Emerald Coast. She joined NBI Properties in 2011 working as a team with her husband, Chad Knaepple. Jennifer has a background in mortgage lending and residential real estate. She holds a psychology degree from the University of West Florida and possesses excellent communicational skills. Jennifer loves to run road races in support of the local community charities.
